The “Ankoppeln” project unites forces to address social challenges in the northern and western parts of Dortmund, aiming to build a strong, inclusive community. In close collaboration with the Ministry for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refuge, and Integration, the Youth Welfare Office, and the city of Dortmund, we strive to break down barriers and promote equal opportunities.

The "Ankoppeln" project tackles the challenge of promoting social integration, improving educational opportunities, and building trust in institutions. With a holistic approach and the collaboration of dedicated partners, we are committed to working towards a better future.

Project Goals

Promoting Social Integration:

Through workshops, counseling services, educational courses, and cultural events, we create opportunities that support social integration and foster an inclusive environment.

Improving Educational Opportunities:

We provide tutoring, language courses, and targeted support to enable children and young people to have better educational opportunities and to facilitate their access to further education and career prospects.

Strengthening Trust in Institutions:

By creating transparent communication channels and offering support with administrative matters, we build trust in local institutions.

2. Educational Opportunities and Career Prospects:

- Utilizing social media, internships, training opportunities, and application/communication training.
- Collaborations with local institutions, schools, and associations.
